| Home page for TIGHR.net The purpose of TIGHR shall be to promote international interaction among rughooking artists, to provide opportunities for exchange of ideas and information and to encourage exploration into tradition, culture, and history of rug making techniques. The policy is to share and enjoy, rather than judge each other's work. The above are accomplished via this website, a quarterly newsletter and tri-ennial conferences. The US Board announces the 2009 conference site to be in Louisville, Kentucky, Sept 20-23 at the Seelbach Hilton Hotel. For special rates at the conference you must be a member for two or more years including 2009. Membership is available for two or one year terms. One year regular mail is $35 US and two years available via regular mail at $60 US or $50 for email issues. The Fall newsletter will be sent regular mail to all and include the prior year's collector's cards for all email accounts. Issues are scheduled for February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1. Editorial deadlines are the 15th of the month prior to publication.
